strange how my speed test turn out to be fine...
no addware, no spyware, reg clean, cache clean, even turned off all microsoft running apps ....

they make you feel like its your problem, not theres!
"do trace, chek packet lose, blah blah blah .......
done that, been there.....
reboot router, chek drivers.....
done that, been there....
run -diag ...... send in the results....
blah blah blah ......
excuse after excuse.......
tell you what, instead of passing the blame onto players, or ISP....

Funny how the pre-searing trolls always use vague and un-specific examples in order to complain. Btw... do you know anything about networking at all?

At first I thought this was a GW Haiku.
On a serious note, Every once in a while I will get horrible lag spikes for a day or two that don't involve other games. They always pass. It's annoying as hell but it will probably resolve itself.

why are you complaining about it here? Anet has a support area. Now if you had asked how you could possibly fix this problem... no worries there, but you instead felt the need to yell at people who are not responsible for your problem. Nice Work.

>90% these lag posts are really caused by problems on the user's end or at an intermediate network node -- things a-net can do NOTHING about.
So, tracert, post it. If it indicates the problem really is on a-net's end, then you can complain. Otherwise, please do shut up.

We are a fansite, we are not anet or anet support. If there is an issue with the server's you will need to take it up with anet themselves. Also, run the traceroute and see where/if it spikes - if it's at anet's server's then they can possible do something about it, if it's happening anywhere else then you will need to talk with your ISP and try and convince them to change the way they route packets to GW servers (and bloody good luck in doing that.. it cost's a lot to change route's (which means unless they have a LOT of customer's complaining about it, they ain't gonna do it).. and isn't always possible, or will even help).
Anyways, as this thread will only draw flames. as it is.. I'm closing the thread. If you wish to re-post this as a technical issue, try including the following:
- your cpu
- how much ram you have
- video card
- OS
- what kind of internet connection you have
- the speed of your net connection
- isp you use
- a traceroute showing the path taken to the GW server's.
Thread closed.
